What started as a passion for putting quality food on our family tables has become a full-scale ranching operation. At Redhouse, we care for our land and animals, stewarding their role in our food system every step of the way. We’ve spent years developing our cattle’s genetics and a proprietary grass blend for grazing so you can have the best in quality and taste for your family.
The Redhouse operation is named for the small red house that sits atop our mountain ranch — a testament to California’s ranching heritage. Everything about our process honors the traditions of the families that came before us — down to the very last finishing detail at our ranch on Enos Lane. We understand the privilege of working with the land and animals, and we pay close attention to every aspect — from the nutritional breakdown of the grass to the low-stress environment our herds and flocks enjoy to the way we use and value the whole animal.
Our herd marbles and matures in a regenerative pasture setting for a mild, tender and approachable flavor that’s just as good as you imagine, and the same holds true for our pasture-raised chicken and pork.
